Hello my friend vivekkumarnayak Ji,
Everyday is not a Sunday. Cricket is full of uneratinties by nature of the game. One ha sto loose and other has to win. Why Australians havetorelinquish their world title. It i svery simple, they did not do as per teh requirement , upto winning standard.
Wishing you a very happy Chrismas and New Year-2010.
May God bless You and have a great time.

The fact is that Srilanka had played exceptionally and India could not make it. They are accurate in Fielding and bowling and we have performed very poorly in both bowling and fielding. As a result of which they reach at a score which is quite high to achieve. Though India started with a playing spirit, with Gambhir smashing a half century in just 19 balls, the rest of the players could not capitalize on the beautiful start. They just fall in the trap of mendis & jaysuriya.

The reason for a team losing a match is usually the other team performing better. In the first T20 match between India and Srilanka India started off well in both innings.Their bowling looked sharp to begin with. Ishant was bowling really well.I guess the threat to his place in the team from Sreesanth has done wonders to his psyche. BUt the fielding just didnt seem to be in place. Dropping match winners like Sanath, Dilshan, Sangakkara and even Kapugedera was very costly. I believe the Nehra's over in which Sanath hit 5 fours was the turning point of the match when Srilanka was batting. That shifted the momentum towards Srilanka.
When we talk of batting I guess the middle order batsmen have to prove more thanapoint now that they have been failing quite consistantly. The wrong move was Dhoni coming in at number 3.It wasnot a wrong more per se but the way Dhoni batted did make it a wrong move. He never triedto get a move on when Srilanka was under pressure by the butchering it was getting from the other end through Gambhirs willow. Dhoni was simply playing with a strike rate of 80./ And once the wicket of Gambhir was taken by the Srilankans, which I believe was the turning point of the match while India was batting, Dhoni showed the desperation. That was a little too late. The asking rate was too much for the other batsmen to show patience. And the fact that the big hits by the srilankans went over the rope and the big hits from the indian bats were all gobbled up in the deep indicates to a point which no one seems to realize.
While Srilankans were batting DHoni showed no creativity in arranging the field or executing a plan for each batsman. While Sangakarra was very actively involved in most dismissals. He gave the bowlers specific fields and asked them to bowl a particular channel. Sehwags wicket was the high point in Sangakkaras captaincy on the day.

Yeah a Horrible Match that was especially For Indian Bowling and Fielding Department. The Reason you can see clearly is the Fielding Differences of Both Teams.
Dropping:
1)Sanath by Yuvraj(One of the best Fieldor)when he was just at 4 Runs.
2)Dropping Dilshan by Ishant Sharma
3)Dropping Kapudegedra by Rohit Sharma(Caught and Bowl)
4)Misfielding
5)Poor Bowling
6)Poor Batting in the Middle and Slog Overs.
Truthly Say Vivek Dhoni tooking T20 as a practice Match which he even mentioned at Newzealand T20 Series where India Lost 2-0 to Newzealand. Moreover Yusuf,Sharma,Raina disappointing with the Bat.Remind you this is the 4 Consecutive Loses we have in T20 which Falls Down India in ICC T20 Rankings.Thats all the Reason For The Downfall of a First Ever World T20 Champion.
