Most People respond to discussion posted by any Lady why?

Hello all, well i was just checking all discussion and really feel so miserable that people usually respond to the post whom has some girl pic or is a female and do not even like to look at the post sometime which have boy or man photo in display or know that user is a male why? why this all happening here in mylot? :(

As much as I value your observation zahidz, I think this is hasty generalization. Personally, I respond to discussions that incite thoughts and are not redundant, after all I hate having to repeat myself, and the ones that are highly interactive. But of course, you would argue that I am a female such that I would not be attracted by female users, but I do believe that we have smart members here who knows which discussions are worth spending their time on, and most importantly, which discussions are not.

I don't know about the former but I can explain the latter a bit. I think people respond to those discussions started by members who have a high number counter and reputation since they trust the user enough knowing that they can guarantee a quality discussion. And when you participate in high quality discussions, the higher your chances of earning. And that does not even factor in the number of comments or posts with whom you can respond to.

ahan, well that is nice but as you can see, some discussion started by famous member are also not very interactive but got more response.did you find this? so is it also that people respond to the member who has more figures in their respond counting?

so what if we respond to the new user discussion? yeah mostly people just visit top discussion section and respond in that but sometime i find a discussion with just 2 response in top discussion which is confusing???

I don't think so..Most of the members are not even considering the user name of the discussion starters like me. Also members don't have enough time to visit the profiles of the others also.We can see less number of profile views even if we participate in more discussions.The female members may start the discussion so that their discussions are attracting the members or the discussion issues are familiar to most of the members and hence they may receive more responses.In general the discussions started in the money making interests and the interest "life" are getting more responses irrespective of the discussion starter. I will not even care about the user names of the discussion starters.

yeah that's true but many users has also showing hot display pic to attract people, well that's all ways to attraction to discussion. thanks for your comments wordlinx.

doesn't matter what the pic is to me, long as i can give a good response to the post.i have trouble trying to put a pic up.

Hi, zahidz. I did not notice or I just forgot. I don't know why some myLot users like to have pictures as this. I guess they like it. We all have choices on what we would like to choose. It is up to us on what we will have as our personal avatar. Just don't pay it any attention that is all that I can tell you. If you want to post at the discussion, feel free to do so. If not, then don't bother with posting if the picture offends you.

I don't care the poster's pic,whether it's a girl,a boy,or even a cat or dog.What I really care about is the content.But I think the title of the post is very important,'cause people are first attracted by the title.

yeah i also do that but i have seen some discussion having more than 26 responses and their title was just so simple but people discussing that thing again and again

Hi zahidz, I actually haven't noticed what you have noticed When I respond, I am really not into the profile picture - whether a man, woman, animals, babies, flowers, animated avatars, etc. I just keep on responding to any topic that I like. Doesn't matter who owns that yan

yeah good that what we all do yan, actually there are lots of interesting topic in mylot but people just not responding to them,so thats why i just search and find out this thing :)
