laser treatment for eyes?

I too have been thinking on going for a laser surgery but don't know if it really is effective and I am a bit skeptic of its side effect on the long run. Would like to collect any form of information before i finally go for the surgery, hope the discussion sheds more light on the pros on cons of laser surgery. Noone can tell you to go for it or not, that is your decision entirely! We have a show in England called This Morning and on it on Monday was the presenter who had laser eye surgery and he 'took us behind the scenes'. It doesnt look painful and it worked really well! At the end of the day its up to you its quite expensive but if you can afford it then go for it!
