My new diet

I was on diet numerous times and some worked some didn't. In the last few years I gained about 10lbs that I really don't need and I was trying to get rid of them for a long time. But I would always loose a lb or two and then gain 2 or 3. It was really frustrating. I know that one one is on diet there are 3 things one has to obey and those are:
1. Exercise - which means spend the calories you put in your organism
2. Don't eat junk food forget about chocolate, mayonnaise, candies, cakes, biscuits and similar stuff
3. Take some tea or pills that will help you loose weight - but these things will help you only if you obey the first two rules. The pills or tea by itself wont help you much.
So I started my diet 6 days ago. I started working out with some videos of Paul Eugene, it lasts for about 10-15 minutes and it is really great. You dance so it is really interesting. Thanks Mr. Paul Eugene for your great Samba workout!!!
I started eating differently. I try to eat as much proteins as I eat carbohydrates. I live in Italy and here people eat mostly pasta...which means carbohydrates...for breakfast they eat coffee and biscuits, brioches and similar stuff, while for dinner they eat pasta again. I decided not to do that any more.
Every healthy diet advises one to eat a lot for breakfast, as much for lunch and little for dinner. So I started eating a whole yogurt of 250g ... about 200kcal for breakfast, than a small snack of some crackers and some proteins like curd or cheese, then lunch usually some meat and vegetables...I try to avoid pasta as much as possible, than again a snack, and then dinner 250g of yogurt again. This yogurt I take is a natural one and it has 4,4g of proteins, 4,8 of carbohydrates and 3,5 of fat. I do the Paul Eugene workout at least 2 times a day and I drink green tea once a day and alga fucus tea once a day. I've already lost 3 lbs in 6 days and i am really happy about it.
I think that this 40:40:30 ratio of proteins, carbohydrates and fat is really important. I was on a Herbalife presentation and they said that in their products the ratio of these elements is 40:40:30 but as everyone is suggesting different diets today and everyone says that THEIR diet works I wasn't eager to buy Herbalife products as I am keen when I have to spend a bunch of money for something I don't really know if it is going to work for me. So I made myself my own diet on Herbalife diet base. Instead of their shakes I drink yogurt. I know that it doesn't have all those vitamins and minerals Herbalife shake has but that's why I try do take vitamins and minerals separately. Actually, even the people who drink Herbalife shakes take vitamins and minerals separately. can't explain why this 40:40:30 ratio works but the fact is that it works. I've tried that when I was on the Zone diet but it was too difficult for me to weight everything. Now in this yogurt the ratio is almost perfect and I really don't weight anything not even for lunch or snack. I take about 1400kcal per day and that plus the work out really functions.
Do you have any experience with Herbalife diet? What about Zone diet? Do you think 40:340:30 ratio really works? Pleasa share.
