at age 60 i retired from the government service after 35 years of serving my country. it was a big relief and totally free from all responsibilities of duties but the sad part was that the compensation was not enough.after two years, there was no more money to sustain my life. i never regret retiring but my lesson here is that i should have been careful in dispensing the money i got. as an advice to others, dont retire until the last required age of 65. if you retire early, keep your money and spend very wisely. there are no more monthly income like salary, bonus and others. my only consolation now is being healthy and alive to this day.
