I have just come back from a trip to Venice in Italy where I spent 2 nights with my husband - we took the trip as part of his birthday celebrations and although the weather was a bit wet I absolutely loved it!
Have you ever been or would you like to visit and what would you like to see whilst you are there? x

Hello my friend. I am really glad to hear that you and your husband had a wonderful time in Venice. I went there in November 1994. I was quite cold there. I loved seeing St Mark's Square and looking at some of the bridges. I really enjoyed visiting some of the islands. I bought some lovely tasting tiny oranges. I hope that you will do lots more enjoyable traveling in 2010.

I have been to Europe that included Italy where I covered Rome, Pisa, and Venice. I liked that travel by the water bus to reach my hotel. I also liked the St. Marks Square where I had a session with the pigeons while listening to the never ending band in the background. Our hotel was situated on the beach and that beach experience I will never forget. I also liked my visit to the glass factory where they showed us how they make glass items. One thing I did not like were those gondolas as I found the water not so clean!!!

We did not go over to the Lido - is that where you mean by the beach? x
