I have a co-worker that has 4 dogs, 2 cats, 1 snake, 1 spider, 21 beta fish, 1 gerbil, and 3 guinea pigs. And a few more that I am sure that I have not mentioned. Wouldn't your house smell?

It could be worse, they could have sheep, chickens, ducks & turkeys inside!!!!! We have a farm and I am thrilled that my animals are NOT in my house with the exception of my dog and cat!!!!!

it depends on the dimensions of your house, if your house has a large garden then can hold more animals, otherwise you make them suffering. However I think that to have too many animals is a mistake because it isn't enough attending them.

I love all animals but have only a cat and dog at home, my step-mother has a rabbit and a cat. This is enough right now. If the animals are all well cared for I don't see a problem and the house shouldn't smell if they are. It just sounds very busy, maybe your co-worker doesn't have children yet, I had more pets before the kids.

Probably. That person may have a psychological problem.
