How many animals in the house is to much?

we have 5 dogs

Well that's a zoo for sure, but I have 6 cats and we don't smell, I clean up after them daily and spray febreeze on the kitty bed... I guess it all depends on if you are aware of the smell or not. Someone with that many pets may not even notice it?

It could be worse, they could have sheep, chickens, ducks & turkeys inside!!!!! We have a farm and I am thrilled that my animals are NOT in my house with the exception of my dog and cat!!!!! yellowrose125tx

it depends on the dimensions of your house, if your house has a large garden then can hold more animals, otherwise you make them suffering. However I think that to have too many animals is a mistake because it isn't enough attending them.

Okey, the person loves animal. If his action doesn't disturb others then let him be in his world. At least animals don't betray, they respresent their true self unlike us.

I love all animals but have only a cat and dog at home, my step-mother has a rabbit and a cat. This is enough right now. If the animals are all well cared for I don't see a problem and the house shouldn't smell if they are. It just sounds very busy, maybe your co-worker doesn't have children yet, I had more pets before the kids.

That is too many animals to me. I just couldn't deal with that many, who has the time.

I have 4 in my house and all are human beings.
