Do you practice daily or only when you need something?

I was wondering how many of you out there practice wicca daily? Or are you a part time witch? If you practice daily, what kind of activities do you do. I try to practice daily. I have a daily morning blessing, I meditate and read daily. I also have a family that keep me very busy. Please share with me how you practice.

well for a start I don't practice Wicca at all.
it's too formal, too group focused, and not for me, really. my tradition is a bit more on the old fashioned side.
I don't use magic frivolously. I won't scrabble around looking to do something for the sake of doing it, but on the other hand, I do need to do enough to keep my skills ready for action should I need to do something drastic.
this I tend to do through meditation, and a bit of energy play, such as trying to influence the height of a candle flame, or even just balling it up and re-shaping it.
I've also got a few things I do as sort of borderline magic/meditation, such as knitting, which I use to get into a meditative state, and as a low level magic, just to give me somewhere to focus the energy I raise.

Thank you for sharing. I like that you use knitting to help you get into a meditative state. I listen to music.
