Won't they also send you a check? You might find a good deal at one of the other places too. You could make up a play gift card and give it to them.Then when you get the money give it to them. If My Points stopped offering gift cards from them it must be for some good reason and another store must give them a better deal. You might check into that fascet of this. Better deals elsewhere that is.

THANK YOU for warning me!!! I've only cashed in once at MyPoints & I opted for the Walmart Card. I was able to get a printer thanks to that card. This really pisssses me off!!! I live in a really small town & Walmart is my only option without driving 75 miles. I don't think I'll leave MyPoints just yet opting to let my points just build up & see if maybe Walmart might not come back into the fold. I wonder if it would help if ALL of us who use the Walmart card sent an email of complaint. Since MyPoints didn't give us any heads up, should we send it to MyPoints or Walmart??? I do understand your frustration as to your children's Christmas gifts. At the time I received my card, my printer had just broke & I couldn't afford another. That is, until I received my gift card. It gave me just enough that I could come up with the rest. I can't believe that Walmart is too dumb to realize that those of us using their gift card actually end up spending MORE money with them that we would NOT have spent had it not been for the card. In my case, I spent an extra $50 that they would NOT have gotten had it not been for their card. Actually I was looking at another printer at another retailer & the gift card was the ONLY reason I went to Walmart. I know $50 won't make or break Walmart; but if it happens enough times, it can affect their profits. Why would I take a Target card??? The closest Target is 80 miles away & every item they sell is several dollars higher than Walmart which is only 2 miles from my home!!! If MyPoints was a lot of work, I'd probably just cut my losses & leave. However, they are easy work so I'll probably stay a while longer. I'm just going to check back every so often to see if they've added Walmart back.

I used to get amazon until I started shopping at Walgreen's...now I get Walgreen's from them. I wish I could get points faster, but I can't afford to shop online for points. I do try to print the coupons here and there if I know I will use them. I love when I can actually get a bzz campaign to get points for turning in bzz reports. Is Wal Mart there now?? Someone the other day said they had paypal for a cashout option for them with mypoints.......none of the rest of us see it in our redemption area. Marsha

I noticed that just the other day as well. I am about 15 points shy of getting a $25 Target card, so I guess that is what I will cash mine out for. I have only ever cashed out my points there once before and I got a Walmart card then.

I think that you should continue to use the site. Sometimes they run out of certain giftcards but they get them back later. I know that around christmas time most of the walmart cards are gone because a lot of people request these walmart giftcards around christmas for christmas presents for their family. You should just wait and they will have some more. :)

first, don't be sooooo mad, jud a little only. it's not good for your liver :-) second, if they no longer payout, then try somewhere else. yeah true it could help specially in this season but what can we do. the only constant thing in this world is change. so, don;t put so much emotions on things like this. good luck camomom

I haven't even noticed the WalMart gift cards because I don't think they work in Canada. That's too bad that they don't have them. Have you checked if giftcertificates.com has WalMart gift Cards? Because mypoints can give you credits to gift certificates.com. It's roundabout, but it's a possibility.

I am a MyPoints member too and generally get Walmart cards but if they arent offering them anymore I'll just find a card for somewhere else since they have plenty of options that interest me... I would (if Iwere you) just keep earning points until you find something that interests you..

oh dear... sorry to hear about that. i don't use mypoints because i guess they don't serve international customers. but agree that it sux when people promise something and change their policy midway so they don't deliver when you've worked hard and made plans based on their promise....

I don't know but I think they will get them back in stock. They probably were swamped with requests for that particular prize because it was close to Christmas. I know it feels when you look forward to something like this and then you can't get it. Hang in there, if I were you I would just keep collecting points. That is really to bad. I use MyPoints too but haven't visited it for a while, except for printing out coupons. I usually redeem for Target gift cards and really hope they will still be available, otherwise I will have to go with another merchant this time. Did you contact MyPoints to check of it is only temperary, they may be out just for a little while?

i think you should keep trying to earn points and try to find another way to redeem them or maybe get in contact with the company and see if there are other companies they due buisness with other than walmart.

Wow. That surprises me. I got a Walmart gift card just a few months ago. But yes you're right, they aren't offering Walmart gift cards anymore. I went to the website too. Would you have been able to get the gift card to your house before Christmas anyway? Can any of the gifts you want be purchased at Walgreens or Kmart? I know Walgreens has a limited inventory, but they have plenty of toys. I don't have a Kmart near me, but maybe you do?

WHAT??????? We gotta team up and storm mypoints until they give us back the Walmart gift cards. I, too, only cashed out my points for the Walmart cards cause it's most convenient place and cheapest for me to shop. When I'm ready to cash out, I'm gonna have to browse and see what else they have to offer. You sure you can't buy from somewhere else for your kids using your points? LLBean for instance?

That's su... terrible! Guess Walmart didn't feel the need to be there any more or something - I know I've gotten a few things on ebay and then the places I got stuff from, that had been there a long time, closed their ebay shops... one right after I got what I bought! Good luck
