Nowadays there are so many cell phones out there that it is so difficult to choose from them all, from super sized (yes i mean size) PDA's to slim super small PDA's, from the old colour less screen (black and white) cell phones, bottom line is I want to know which cell phone you would go for and why? is it because of price, size, support for the phone, games, software, etc.
So which on would you go for ?

Normally i shoudl consider much factors before buying a device like that...
such as display,os,memory, processor, ram, camera, connectivity, other functionalities and so on...Normally it is real personal choice so some people like more operativity other multimedia or simply design..i think till now i like few devices like that..as nokia n900 or plam pre and even htc hero seemed nice as smartphones..surely i think if you like to buy one may be is better to buy not in xmas time but waiting a little bit more as so the price or even the upload models should appear as soon on 2010!!

When I buy a cell phone I'm constantly thinking about what I need it to do, and what it can do for me. What advantages does it have, and what disavantages. Is it long-lasting seeing as it would be on a two-year contract. Upgrading early often results in more money for me. So those are the basic things I look for in the phones I buy. I don't settle for anything else. You shouldn't eaither.

Hello mot787m,
I've always loved T Mobile phones, especially the Sidekick brand. I've owned a Sidekick 3 and a Sidekick iD in the past and I've never had a problem with either of them. The price is a little high if you have to buy it full price but with rebates it's a good price.
When I bought my Sidekick 3 when they first came out, it cost me A LOT! and than I had a 2 year contract and with the Sidekick you have to pay for the plan which is $25 a month now I believe if not more, it was $20.00. It includes unlimited Internet, Messaging Services, and Text Messaging.
Last year I owned a Sidekick iD which was prepaid and I preferred the prepaid service since it's only $1.00 a day for the same unlimited features that you pay over $20.00 for on a contract plan. I hate the phone and I don't use it unless it's an emergency or I really have to talk to someone, the only person I ever talk to on the phone for long amounts of time is my mom. Besides that I'd rather text message or talk to instant messenger. The Internet on the Sidekicks isn't that fast, but I've heard it's gotten faster as they've upgraded, a newer Sidekick model just came out in 2009, they seem to still be fairly popular phones as far as T Mobile customers go.
I love the iPhones but I doubt I'll ever be able to afford one, the only pet peeve I have as far as that phone goes is the fact that it's a touch screen and I hate fingerprints so I'm not sure the iPhone and myself would get along very well haha. If I'm going to have a cell phone I'd rather have a phone I can enjoy and get a lot of use out of, since I'm currently unemployed and only do some work at home I have a house phone and a cheap prepaid phone but I still stick with T Mobile because I prefer their prices and customer service

i've been used the NOKIA 3210 for two yeas, if i buy a new cell phone,i will consider the iphone, because the appstore has many funny games. iphone is not only a communication tool, but also a game tool.

Honestly, the new Iphones and other new phones look pretty cool, but I don't think I would use them. Or sometimes I think maybe if I did get one, I would use it all the time, and it would detract from my life otherwise. That is why I have chosen to stick with an old fashioned, cheap, flip phone. It does what I need it to and nothing more, nothing less.

well i would suggest you nokia N97. The reason for this is that it has got most of the features available at today's modern phones at quite reasonable price. Got a 5 MP camera, 32 GB memory, QWERTY keyboard, Stylish design, Touch screen, Many applications, large screen, slider, Loud sound for music lovers and also WIFI for accessing wireless internet.

If I had the money I would definitely go for the Iphone. I love all the applications you can get on it and I love how it's touch screen. I really like how it's a ipod and a phone in one. It's just so cool. They are ridiculously expensive though, especially if you have all the applications too. I really like the set up of them, and how easy they are to use.

well, i simply choose based on what i need most of a cellphone. I need my cellphone to make a phone call, messaging, a little internet (just in case), a little gaming (so that i'm not gonna die boring when i have to wait for someone).
i won't choose the super size, cause it won't fit in my pocket. Nor i will choose the slim one, for i keep losing things and damn, i am a forgetful person.
just the standard one, preferably who has the best durability (been outdoor alot).

If i want to buy a cellphone,I will consider the quality of it first, and then i will consider the battery and the function is offered, the necessary function is can call and send text message, additionally,i can listen to music through it.And the price is one of my consideration factors.

I am with Verizon Wireless, but if I were with AT&T, I would probably have the iphone. I do have the ipod touch and it is jut like the iphone but can't call, and it doesn't have a camera, or a mic either. It has lots of apps on it, and I think that is why I would get the iphone, but since I am with Verizon, they don't have th iphone, so I will just settle with what I have. I have only had my phone 4 months, so I will have it for uite awhile yet. It does have a touchscreen and a qwerty keyboard, and all in all, it is a nice phone. I should have wited though, as I got have got the droid which is better, but by the time I get a new phone in a couple of yers, there will be better ones yet. Take care, and happy mylotting.

Temporarily I don't need to buy a new cell phone , the one I am using is an old pattern but I am not going to change unless it's broken . if I have to buy a new one .I will also feel difficult to choose for I am not professional in cell phone ,I think the appearance of cell phone will be the factor I consider most ~
