I have heard most people say they love Windows 7. Especially after Vista, who wouldn't!
But I want to ask you, is there anything you dislike about Windows 7? Do tell. I need to know this. I am doing some research

Hello trohichko,
I think you right about you comments with those two operating systems. It seems that those OS is very much exposure since they are not good as XP in operation. I though that they made in compatible with core2quad with 4 gig MHz, and with a memory of 10 gig...to run it smoothly and faster...

@aerous- Yeah, I was an XP gal for a long time. In fact I still have it on one of my machines. Thanks for your input! :)
@trohichko- I know what you mean. It is just the hype. I knew that That is why I wanted to know the problems in 7 and not the advantages. I am glad you just said what I was thinking and knew all along. LOL. :)

Dislike windows 7 is really hard for me but some applications in windows 7 irritates me when i work.
1.Internet explorer 8.(It may start up quick, but still same eating RAM habit)
2.Media Player 12( It is cool. but when i load it with bulk of songs it eating my RAM like anything)
3.Im not able to stop taking thumbnails of specific files.
4.Look of the start menus all program list.(I kinda feel like my folders all suffocating in there inside the start menu)

Hey blackspects,
Thanks for your honest response. I am wondering if I should go with Ubuntu or windows. So it is good to get feedback like this, to get a proper picture.
I guess we can always work around with options like FF and Winamp. Just like our fellow myLotter has suggested.
Thanks for your response, really appreciate it!

Personally I have still not used Windows 7 but I read today that issues are coming up with Windows 7 . Many professional PC's were loaded with Windows 7 but the process got stuck at 62% . There are also instances of loading drivers and getting problems .I read this piece of news at Yahoo website. Though have seen Windows 7 OS in a Dell laptop and I liked it a lot , without using , the external look . :-))

I have friends who have tested Win 7 and feedback is that it is much better than Vista. Having said that, there could be errors with Win 7 but chances are that they will be fixed with future updates. Hence if you want to move from XP or Vista to a newer OS Win 7 will be a good choice.

Yes, I too think that only time will tell. A friend of mine who is good with Computers and the works said, it is pretty much a Vista with the bugs fixed and just a few more additions.
That is why I am eager to find out issues it has.
Thanks for your response. I appreciate it!

Windows 7 is supposed to be an improvement of vista. When windows vista first came out, it was really bad and slowed up your pc. But now, with all of the new updates, the speed and usage has improved. I suggest you stick with Windows 7 for now and keep updating it to the latest software. This post is for all the lovers of microsoft. Personally, after using 7, i downgraded to vista business and it ran much faster. Out of 7, vista, and xp, i think xp was the best one. The reason i like xp, is that it doesn't take up all of the computer's memory and hard drive space. xp only requires 1.5 GB to run. Vista requires 15 GB which is ten times more than xp. But wait, windows 7 takes up a whopping 17 GB of space on your hard drive. If your computer has enough memory and hard disk space, use windows 7 or windows vista. Otherwise, i suggest you to downgrade to xp.
