remedies for back pain? my doc prescribed me myonal(muscle relaxant) and arcoxia(pain reliever)... i too have a problem same as yours. i was diagnosed to have a slip disk (herniation of the spinal cord s3-s4) good thing, it can be treated by traction. if not, surgery is next. do not slouch when u sit, it can alter the normal contour of the spine. when you pick something on the floor, do not bend on your hips, bend your knees and pull up using ur knees. just remember, try not to strain your back. also, make sure you do back exercise regularly.

I have had a back injury for over 3 years and I have to say that you should go and see a doctor about why your back is giving you this pain. It might just be part of the aging process or you might of hurt it in someway. Few things that you can do is 1. when you sleep on your side put a pillow between your knees it will help releive tension on your spine. 2. keep your weight at a reasonable weight. The more weight you carry the harder it is on your back. 3 exericse. Make sure you exercise and do stretches to keep those muscles up. Go see a doctor and maybe go see a physiothearpist as they can help you to your needs.

I have had a back problem for over 2 years. Some days it's horrible and other days tolerable. Bulging disks and arthritis are my problem. I had cortizone injections in the past for the pain. It helps but doesn't cure the problem. I do take a prescription from the doctor that helps relieve some of the pain. It's a hefty dose of Ibprofen. I refuse to take pain pills. If you lay on your side in bed try putting a pillow between your knees. Do you know what is causing your back pain? I would highly recommend you see a back pain specialist and see what he/she recommends. Not all back problems are the same and have to be treated differently. Feel better, carolbee
