What can you tell me abot LA?

ok, I am planning to move back to southern california in a couple months, more specifically the Los Angeles, Orange Country area.
I do have a couple friends that live there, but I want to know if any mylot-ers have been there? If so, what can you tell me about the area?
Any reccomendations for restaraunts, mechanics, shopping, etc?
And also, I know there's a couple not so good neighborhoods out there- do you know any good ones? ww

This brings back many memories - I used to live in the Orange County area a loooooooong time ago, so I really can't help you now, unfortunately. I went back to visit 10 yrs later, and there was a multitude of changes that I was shocked at. The town I lived in, was so run down, and had become a gang town. So, take it from me, you don't want to live in Inglewood.

hi, im from california. Southern california... around area u want to move. I live close to Cerritos Mall. it is a good area and full of good food. Long beach is good but I dont like to live there. Santa Ana is a good area also but i never live there either... you have to find out where you live and get to know people there... then you will like it

I live in Costa Mesa it's nice and like all of Cali Cities you have your good and bad. I happen to live by the 405 fwy and 5 min from Newport Beach.
Lived in Fullerton also Nice area, a little more quiet. There is Brea and La Habra
All nice to me at least. I lived in Roland Heights when I first came to Cali,
and unless you read Korean you have to find a translator for the stores there lol.
Rowland heights is LA county.And yes stay away from Downey,Inglewood, and of course COMPTON..lol (even if you have "California Love")
