Does It Sound Rational to Try To Use Facebook to connect with a crush?

There's this girl I knew in high school-a blonde, cheerleader type who goes for jock types and such (I'm an awkward, nerdy fellow who prefers libraries over nightclubs), the type of girl the good guy never gets. Its been years now, and I'm trying to make a move for her. The only problem is that she moved out west where her parents live now (she dropped out of school and got some dead-end job, idk). My scheme is to use the facebook so well that I can persuade her to fall for me.
Does this sound creepy, or plausable? I know I'm obsessed with her a bit, but I'm not a creppy stalker (I think!) Please give me feedback on my crazy scheme!

Hi there, we know that things are changing as a result of changing techology but I don't think this your facebook move is a good idea. It is better to tell her faca to face. Besides, you say she has moved west, if you are apart, how can you build the relationship, nerdy guy like you do you approve her dropping out of school

As she was your classmate you know her better than us.so u do as your mind and heart tells u but be in limit that u doesn't hurt the girl, just move towards her slowly and make her to move towards you

Absolutely. I guess that is what Facebook is all about. Connecting with people. Good luck with your 'scheme'!

hi triarc,
I think it is very normal now a days that someone would search the person he/she once liked in high school and I don't find any creepiness about it.haha And as you mentioned it was just a "crush" so I think there is nothing wrong with it. But the thing is you should know how things work on the internet and social sites....you can't easily persuade someone to fall for you that instant...there is always consequence in every action that we make. I think a friendly "hi" to her won't hurt, just tell her you knew her and you just ran on her page accidentally...lolz and see what happens...just "chilax" and enjoy things around you... do the things that will make you happy and just enjoy life!
happy lotting!

That's a really awful idea. You're not going to get her no matter what (no offense, but that's the sad truth, sorry). I think that it's even creepier to try and track down and hookup with this girl through facebook. That's just a little stalkerish for my taste lol. Sorry to be such a downer. Good luck. Cheers!

Sounds kinda creepy to me. You can't just make someone fall for you. The only thing right now you can do is add her as a friend right now. If she accepts your request you can begin talking to her. Just take things slow and if she shows that she is intrested then take it from there. However people I never dreamed of really being friendly to in school I am friends with now and we do talk from time to time.
