why do we like mylot? but our friends don't want to join?

Hi bulastika,Well.i really love mylotting.i enjoyed so much sharing my ideas.Yes,i agree with you i have 2 friends being convinced as my refferals and they signed up.I don't know why they were not working.It's almost one month after they signed up.For me being here in Mylot really makes me happy and and inspire.I can feel that my mind is working.Thanks,Good Day!

hello there bulastika, I have been begging on my knees, making the best mylot promo ever and then sending tons and tons of messages across the other social network site but still they seemed to be pretty close minded about it and worse some of them think it's a scam. i had other joined but i don't think they lasted long enough. I feel sorry for them for not getting a true essence of online money making most specially here at mylot.even if i warned that friendster might closed this coming next year if they don't renew their contract. too bad for them.

yes honey, it happens so many a times.. we r always in search of like minded people with whom we can share ourselves we find them here.. thats why...........

Hello Bulastika I suggested a few of my unemployed friends to try out MyLot, then they would atleast earn a few cents while spending thier time online, but yet i have to see them beeing active. I think it is because they have a hard time believing in that we will actually get paid for discusing various subjects. I think some may be motivated once i have my first payment from Mylot, im going for Payment in January :)

Hi bulastika Yes, I feel the same with you. I don't understand too why they still don't believe me. Well, actually they still don't believe that making money online is possible. I'm a college student and I know most of my friend prefer study and haven't thought about money yet. "Don't have time", 'afraid it is scam", "where's the proof", etc. Actually yes, I have the proof, but since it is still in paypal and I haven't withdraw it to my bank account (the fee is high if the amount hasn't reached $150) Well, some of them think that making money online is "low" and we should concentrate only in study, etc. Actually sometimes it makes me shy to, try to earn money through internet, but don't you think it is better than not try? At least I can get extra money from the net.. Maybe if we show the proof to them, they will stop talking and try this site

Maybe they are always hearing of internet scams and they are tired of them and they think mylot is also a "scam." As for me, since i found mylot, I quite regreted that I did not join much earlier. Before mylot, I'm active in other site like Yahoo Answers in which you can ask question and respond to others' question but you won't get paid even if your level goes higher. They will not reward you for participating except by only giving you points that make your level goes higher.

Hi bulastika, I haven't tried to get any of my friends to join here because I know that none of them would! You have to dedicate a lot of time here to make any money, and people (who don't understand yet about the other great reasons for being on myLot) probably don't want to spend a lot of time talking to 'strangers'. Most people I know don't have the time to spend here anyway as they're working, and would see the earnings-rate here as a waste of their time compared to their real wages. Or else they're too busy with their children. It takes a lot of time to get into this site and see what it's about, and to become comfortable here. To someone who hasn't encountered myLot before, a site which pays you a couple of cents to write posts or start discussions might sound a bit dodgy! And the idea of getting to know people on the internet is sometimes a bit of a worrying one too. What we all have in common on this site is that we have enough time to be here, (or at least to visit from time to time), we like participating in discussions on all sorts of subjects, and with people that we don't really know. And we trust the site; because we've been paid, or perhaps because we've had the experience of coming across some nice people here. Your friends probably don't have these things in common with you. And unless they're willing to invest the time (and time is very very valuable), then sadly they probably won't give it a go.

I think some of them are not into this stuff, you know, answering and responding to comments or they just don't like to think and write or could be they want fast money or they have enough money and don't think that a few cents per day would make any difference or etc. etc. There are hundreds of reasons, so, I think we have to approach different people with different styles. For instance, if you know a friend who likes to share his/her opinion, then, you may suggest this site or if your friend likes to socialize online, again, you may invite him/her to take a peek at this site. The money we earn is just an added bonus, so, I don't think it's a good way to convince someone to join myLot by mentioning about the incentive unless s/he is asking about online earning because if s/he asks how much we can earn from here and if we mention a few cents per day, of course, it doesn't sound attractive. To me, I don't really feel that I am much closer with my online friends than my offline friends, but if I spend half of my time in here and less interaction with my offline friends, then, I guess I could say that I have special connections with other fellow myLotters.

Some people don't have the time to dedicate to MyLot. I enjoy the people on MyLot. I love to share ideas and hear what others are thinking.

hi bulastika, i will explain you dear, yeah i had this experience too.. i think mylot will pay a cent of a discusion or response, for this reason our friends won't like to join in this site.. they are thinking for only one cent why should we wast our time . but, i am not thinking about that.. i am enjoying verymuch here, and i have learn so many things, i had emproved my knowledge also to give discussions, responses and comments. if we work hard definitly we may get $10 in a month. thankyou, have a nice day.

Because they all think its a scam. Friends don't join because they think you got into something that is dangerous. blah blah blah. its just like facebook, took me forever to get on that.

I only started doing mylot less than a month ago, I will admit that I was only trying to look for ways to earn from the internet and i had no idea what mylot was all about. The way i understood it was you can earn by responding or giving comments. But after only a few days, my views about mylot slowly changed, it evolved into a way for me to express my views, opinions and start a discussion which evidently became an outlet for me at the same time have a chance to earn from it...what a great combination! But another factor would be making new friends not only locally, but also from other countries....another great combination!!! I just hope that someday, I would be able to meet up all my fellow mylotters here and abroad and that would be great!!! I also hope that when I get my first payment from mylot and the other earning sites (which i am still trying to figure out which are good and how to earn from them, need some help there), it would be easier for me to convince my other friends to join mylot.

Many of your friends aren't joining because they think that it is a bad thing to earn money for joining. What I mean is that if you tell them that you have this site that pays your for participating in their discussions, they will think that you are only joining because you want the money. This will only degrade your status in your friendship group. What you should do is to ask if anyone of them is interested in making extra money online for learning stuff and participating in discussions, and if they are, refer them to mylot.

Hahaha because we don't know what you offer to us.. and like me no idea what is this but i do lots of idea when you tell me that its a blog spot.. Luckily i found it interesting and it helps me a lot to share my ideas.. ( hehehe do you find it interesting)

Well that's hard to say for sure. Some of the reasons that I would think are probably that you don't earn enough for your activity on here, maybe they don't have enough time to use mylot, and maybe it just doesn't seem like a lot of fun to some people but oh well I still have a fun time when I'm using mylot.

I think a lot of my friends think it's a waste of time. They would rather not bother using a site that would earn them money when they can go to a place like yahoo answers that they know gets a lot of traffic. It's hard to convince people, but that's okay, I still will use mylot anyway!

i have tried too as well but it seems like they are interested but don't have time or just don't understand it.I like it because even when I feel like I have no one to talk to or feel like no one is listening to me I know I can talk to someone here.

I'll tell you what, I'm glad to know that I am not the only person who feels this way. When I found mylot, a lot of the other online forums that I have been on have gone to the wayside. I've told many of my real life friends about mylot and they think it sounds too good to be true. None of them honestly believe that I not only get to have fun chatting online but I get paid for it too. There is nothing that I can do to convince them that mylot really is as good as it sounds.

I convinced my boyfriend to join, and so far he loves it. Though, he forgot to ask for my referral link, so no extra money for me. =[ I did talk to some friends about it, told them it was great for them because they already love to chat online, and this way you could earn money on top of it. None of them really cared, I think because they have jobs and figure they can make their money that way. I don't think they realize how much good pocket change they can earn here. Oh well, their loss I suppose. Yes, sometimes I feel that I can open up to people here more than my real friends, not because I'm not close to my friends, but because a lot of the time they only want to talk about themselves, and I'm nearly forced to listen for hours as they talk about themselves. I get the occasional word in, or sometimes they ask me for my advice, but for the most part they don't bother. So for me, Mylot is great because I can not only share my opinion openly, but I have the chance to ask for advice myself.

Maybe they dont like discussions, or maybe they could not correlate in english? hi hi hi ... not like in KITS we can talk or discuss in our own language!!! ha ha ha ha ha !in fairness to others maybe they are very busy in other online business... we cannot blame them..
