waste of time or not.

I don't think facebook is a waste of time. It keeps me connected to all of my activist friends and my writer friends who I don't see as much as I would like to because I live in a very tiny town in Massachusetts. It lets me help out with campaigns that are happening all around the world such as the Uganda campaign to remove offensive, homophobic legislation from their national charter. If I didn't have facebook, I wouldn't know about that campaign or how to be involved in it. It's true I don't play games and such which I think is a big waste of time, but I learn tons of things that I wouldn't have known if I didn't have a facebook account.

I don't think facebook is a waste of time. Keeping in touch with your friends on line is not a waste of time. I guess it depends on our individual needs. If you're the type person who is constantly online then facebook is a very good place to stay since you can practically find all your friends here. If you want to get addicted to games then there's farmville on facebook that very addicting. But if you rely on your online earnings to pay for you internet connection on by just paying rent in an internet cafe then that's when i say facebook is a waste of time. If you want to earn online, then mylot is way better. You can invite all your friends here and post everything under the sun just like facebook and earn in the process. Cheers!
