do fingerprints on your phone screen annoy you?

I have a phone screen protector on my phone, but it's obviously not very good because everytime I use it, it has my ear print or finger prints and the whole thing just looks smudgy and yucky. I try to clean it, but it seems like I have to keep cleaning it to be in decent shape. I'm wondering whether i should just invest in a better screen protector, something that costs around $20. I've heard that there are some that are very good at keeping prints off. Do you clean your phone screen very often? Are you particular that way?

I dun like to see finger prints on my phone screen as well, but i have got no choice.. PLus, i dun believe in those protectors, as they are meant to prtoect it from scratches, but not finger prints.. haha =D Most of the time, i will just wipe the screen with a tissue, if i happen to have, or i will clean it on my tee shirt instead.. lol =D Though it does not look good with my actions, but at least i do get a nice smooth clear screen.. lol =D

oh really? I didn't know that they are not supposed to protect from smudges. the salesmen made me think that it would - cos he said, see your protector so lousy all the smudges on it already. then again, he's a salesman.

I hate that on any phone. I hate it when I pick up my home phone and there are fingerprints on the screen of it or on my cell phone screen also. I am constantly cleaning that off.

ha ha ha ha ha... no matter how expensive the protector is gonna cost you, you cannot escape from those prints and smudges on your phone! We are constantly excreting oils from all over our body. As long as there is skin, there will be oils. And where there is oils, any smooth surface we touched, we will leave some traces of those oils behind. The only thing you should consider investing in is a good microfiber phone cover or bag where you can use to clean your phone every time after you use it.

i'm using an iphone so my fingers are all over the screen. when i find that the prints are making it difficult to see, i just wipe it on whatever i'm wearing. to me, it's nothing big as long as the screen is not scratched. i've got a screen protector but it's to protect the screen from scratches. the smudges are from the oil secreted by our body. so i don't mind them a lot.

Yeah, same things here. My skin is very greasy. But that doesn't really bother me untill I have this touchscreen PDA phone. My fingerprint or any other print from my body makes the digitizer often work wrongly. I have to clean it often then. After that, I bought a screen-protector for my phone. Not too thick because thick protector will make the screen not sensitive anymore. Are you sure that a screen protector cost $20 for a cell phone? It is very expensive then. In Indonesia it only varies between $1.5 to 10$ Regards.

I really do hate it! Its ike my worst nightmare, I am a bit of a clean freak, love being clean and things looking shiny and sparkly! I am constantly cleaning my screen, although I am getting a touchscreen phone later, my early Christams pressie! I feel loved! Yes I am always cleaning not just mine but my partners too. When hes on the phone its not a quick call so it seems to get real greasy! YUK!

Yes, prints and smudges do annoy me, as I am constantly cleaning them off, after I use the phone. I do have a microfiber cloth that I use, and it does a real good job, and I likt it because it doesn't leave any lint on the screen. I do keep it cleaned periodially, as it is a touchscreen, and it doesn't have a screen protector on it as of yet. I just don't like smudges on my cell phone as it really bugs me. I just haven't found screen savers that will fit my phone without having to cut them to fit, as to me that is a waste. I have a 3" screen, and it just so hard to find svreen savers to fit. Take care, and happy mylotting.
