Money and food allow me to know about people... Is this so with you?

I have come to the conclusion that money and food play a pivotal role in how people interact with each other. I will give two instances that highlight this perspective. The oher day I learnt of a case that caused me to wonder. Here goes; During the celebration of a wedding reception the bride and groom delayed in coming and the guest was served before they came. Upon the couple's arrival they discovered that the food was finished including their wedding cake! Imagine this happening? What a disgrace! How would you feel?Is'nt this unkind and unfriendly? The person was telling this story on a talk radio talk show. He went on to say that some of the guest had to go out and purchase food for the couple. But does this compensate for the damage done? The other incident. The other day I granted a man's request by transporting him to destination but before he came into the car I told him that I would ask me to contribute to my gas. He said okay he wanted to reach quickly. After he came in I discovered he was silent the whole time until we reached his destination and this is not his usual behaviour. I concluded that he was vex because he did not want to pay. I asked because money was low with me and after all would he not be paying his fare on the public transport? I have discovered that when you touch some people's pocket you really touch their soul? There are other intances that bring out selfishness,inconsideration, to name afew of the vices.What are your take?
