Suggest me where to go this New Year...

New year is round the corner and i am away from my family... so the best thing would be to hang around somewhere with my friends...
but i am confused to what should be the best place to spend our time in this new year...
we are a group of 6 friends who are staying near to each other...
few options that are coming to my mind right away are:
* going to a pub and spend the night there...
* going to a nearby hill station for a day and spend it there...
* bringing all the stuffs (food & alcohol) in my room and spend the whole night playing music and enjoying in my room...
i am running out of ideas now...
Please suggest me few other options....

Perhaps what you can do is rent a suite in a hotel with a good window or terrace where you can view the skies. You and your friends party there all night-- food, games, drinks..then wait for the clock to strike 12 and watch the fireworks.

The best place where you can spend new year is with your family at home. However if you will really hang out with your friends and if you have sufficient budget then I invite you to go to Philippines and spend new year in Boracay and see the fireworks along the beach.

Thanks for the suggestion but both would not be possible this year... the reason being i will not get off from my job and can only hang out at night... so going to my family is not an option as they live far away... also visiting singapore is out of question here as singapore trip should be atleast for a week and i don't have that much time now...

I know One Most beautiful place, New year is a new begining of life , I prefer to celeberate it with family at HOme, cause We have whole year to woundering with family any where,
MY opinion is that every one have to start his new year from his home with family, Home is the Most BEautiful palce in the world for all new beginings ( NEw happiness, new chalenges, new days, new nights etc)
