The other day my computer just stopped working I couldn't understand what happened. I could log on to the web with my husbands computer but couldn't get into my pay pal account. Now I was upset. Had money in there but couldn't get to the web site to move the money to our bank account. Well this morning I tried hooking my computer back up but didn't work. So I hooked my computer up to my husbands monitor and it started right up. Long story short I got both computers back up. So have any of you ever had your computer stop with one monitor and hook it up to another and it work? Mine won't work with my monitor but works fine with my husbands monitor. And his computer works with my monitor. Have any of you had things weird like this happen to you?

That is in fact weird, i havent faced this kind of problem. Maybe its a problem with your drivers or something like that. Im not a great expert so i couldnt tell properly. Well at least you did what you wanted to do right? and if your monitor works with your husband computer, then you should switch them.

It is strange. I am glad you were able to get back on your own computer though. It is nice when things work out.

Yes, I have had weird things happen. My computer once stopped responding to the keypad. I plugged in another one and it worked fine. I plugged mine into the other computer and it worked fine. I reinstalled the driver and it still did not work with that keypad. After the third time I reinstalled the driver, it worked. Bizarre. Usually when your computer does not recognize a piece of equipment that is connected to it, it is a problem with the driver.

Hello Trruk and welcome to my lot. Yes I know it could have been the driver but the thing wouldn't even show a picture with my monitor which is a little bigger then my husbands. But it wouldn't even show anything on the monitor so I could go and download a driver. It has been like this for a couple of days but I just changed monitors with my husband this morning and it works fine with his computer. His monitor works on my computer and my monitor works on his computer. So we both can still be on the computer at the same time thank God for everything.

Yes, mame, weird things regarding my computer have always happend to me, but someway or another, I always ended up lucky, and my computer would just "return to life". Regarding the paypal issue, you can't login unless paypal sees that you are logging in from the same "mac adress" which is a unique code related to the internet, which every computer has.
You can have many computers using the same IP adress (internet provider) but mac addresses are unique, so that explain your paypal issue.
Regarding your computer, whenever something weird happens to it, I would suggest that you take it to a technician immediatly, so you can get straight professional answers and help.
Hope I have answered your questions and good day!

Hi Borg. I would take it to someone else but I can usually figure out what is wrong on my own. I have worked on computers for years now and this one just bumfarkled me completely never had this happen before. Oh well I prayed about it and God showed me how to fix it. I need my computer as well as my husband needs his computer. I make a little extra money on here and that is the main reason I have a computer. I didn't know about the mac address thing on pay pal. We are hooked up to the same internet connection ran on a spliter and I couldn't see how they can see it was two different computers though. Oh well got it all fixed today thank God!
