I know many people have countdowns to the new year, or to their vacations, but do you ever do an hourly countdown for your shift?
I came in at 7:15 this morning and get off at 6:15, so it's almost noon right now... I have about 6 and a half hours to go! UGH!!

Yes, I do. I think I even bring it to the extreme.
I work in an office, so I stare at my monitor most of the time. I think it was last year when I found a program online called TimeLeft. I downloaded it and now it counts down everything I want to the last second. I have a small display at the right bottom corner of my screen. Most days it just counts down the time until I could leave, and go home.

Yes I do. My son turned 1 yesterday. So I just finished that one. Hope your 6 hours flies as quickly as the year seemed to with my son.

Ha! That's funny. Sure, I do countdowns all the time, I don't work in an office like you but I'll countdown the time I have left when I'm doing something.

hey bethany, No i never even think of doing countdowns. Persoanally, i think keeping track of time, let alone doing countdowns will just make time pass slower for you. Whenever i keep looking at my watch, i get really bored with myself. Anyways, i only usually do a 1 hour countdwon for the New Year, when i'm grouped with family, having a party, you know. Anyways, so if i where i would keep off the countdowns, at lease try it. Maybe not thinking of time, will pass the day faster for you. Give it a go. All the best. :P

Sometimes it makes the time seem to drag, but other times you might be pleasantly surprised.
