i personally think that if you started out as friends then it may work out..if you did, then you treated each other with respect, kindness and honesty while you were in the relationship..friends don't betray each other. So you can absolutely stay friends! :)

i do believe it is possible that you can be friends with your ex lover. i have a few that are still my friends. i think it depends on the how the relationship ended. if they ended on good terms or not too bad of terms then it's very possible to remain friends. i have a few that didn't end very well, so i don't really talk to those ex, but it's okay.

I think it's possible, but also I think it depends on how bad the break up was. If you just thought it wasn't working. I guess you could return to being friends. But If it was a break up over something big, say your girlfriend cheated on you. You may never talk to each other again.
