Hopefully it doesnt get deleted because I had no idea till someone sent this in an email. its a video of a woman born in Egypt as a Muslim. Nonie Darwish. She has a lot to say about how women are treated and how quickly Jihad is spreading across the world. hope this doesnt get deleted. we need to be aware of these things.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gCNtKSLZNJY
also hope you are able to access it.
I think everyone in the U.S. should be required to read this, but with the ACLU, there is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us sends it on!
It is too bad that so many are disillusioned with life and Christianity to accept Muslims as peaceful.
While America is getting rid of Christianity from all public sites and erasing God from the lives of children, the Muslims are planning a great jihad on America ..
So if this discussion comes through, do you believe this? have you any proof she is not telling the truth?

Muslims are in general orthodox in their belief. I find very few people among them who are liberal in their thinking. They mix every thing with religion. Islam teaches jihad. Jihad means fight for truth, fight against non believer. But some Muslims misinterpret Jihad. In the name of jihad they are spreading terrorism. They are killing innocent people. This problem has now become cancerous. This cancer should be removed anyhow. The Egyptian woman is telling the truth.

Jihad means 'strive', strive to keep peace, strive to help society, etc.
Just fighting with non-believer is not a Jihad. Striving to keep one's family is a Jihad. Actually the word 'Jihad' has been hi-jacked by biased medias. Jihad is not holy war. 'Jihad' means 'Striving' in the right way to have a right thing only. Killing innocents or non-Muslims are not right way.
Peace.

I haven't seen this but I can tell you that I'm very disillusioned with ALL religions because of the violence attributed to each one of them throughout history. Each one, with maybe one exception, Buddhism, has had a violent past and some still have violence in them today. Buddhism probably has a bloody past in there somewhere, too, I just don't know about it.
The battle in Ireland between the Catholics and the Protestants is a prime example. I do not condone any religion when there is violence attached to it. None of them will gain a foothold into my life.
I do not believe that any religious groups are peaceful and harmless. I do think that the U.S. is blatantly stupid regarding Christianity because they're banning anything to do with it from all public places, yet our currency still says, "In God We Trust". WTF??? They separated church and state, yet combine the two in something most of us have on us all the time! Makes absolutely no sense to me.
As for the Jihad, I'm not going to worry about it until the time comes for me to worry. There is nothing we can do to open the eyes of our government, that's for sure! They do what they feel like doing. I can tell you one thing, though. If any man tried to treat me like those Muslim women are treated, I'll have to do something extremely UNchristian to him!

this is different, these people where being brain-washed to Love jihad as an interpretation of Loving WAR for the sake of ALLAH. which is very alarmed too. this is not good, but i agree with you that there's unequal treatment to the muslim women. well, i agree with you on this but seriously i hope it doesn't turn into another world war.

My connection restricts me from watching youtube so I cannot watch the video. However, I have read much on the subject.
There is no doubt whatsoever that SOME Muslims are motivated by a jihad. We have seen much evidence of it. However I think it is VITAL that we recognise there are good and bad in EVERY group.
I know there are numerous Muslims here in Australia and elsewhere who are honest law-abiding citizens, who assimilate into the life here and would be appalled at the concept of jihad - but I also know there is a minority group which causes problems, and I wish our governments wouldn't bow to their every claim.

We see it here to a smaller degree than in some countries. Our present Prime Minister does seem to be curbing things a bit, thankfully. He recently said that they chose to live here and if they don't like our lifestyles they are free to leave.
A few years ago public buildings were prevented from displaying any form of decorations referring to Christmas, whether nativity or santa related, and public servants were only allowed to wish people a Happy Holiday. I maintain that if I went to one of their countries and tried to alter their customs, I would be in big trouble!

Alice, it is political correctness gone mad. I must say though, that it seems it is all in one direction. I know of no cases where people of other faiths are under such restrictions. It doesn't bother me what other people wear, but it seems unfair to ban a cross but not symbols of other faiths.

That's truly despicable and yes, I believe that the refugees we are allowing into our country are definitely harbouring terrorists amongst their numbers.
I know that we find the idea of doing such things with children but the horror of it is...these people don't think like we do. To them it's an honour to die for God.

she is discussing how the children in the muslim terrorists areas are taught to die for Allah, etc. and how badly the women are treated. and she shows videos of children being taught to die for allah, like 5 and 6 yrs old. she says they are spreading through countries without our knowledge.the terrorists that is.

First, I do NOT believe Christianity is being "gotten rid of" in America from public sites. I believe that, hopefully, every religion - or those without religion - are still getting - or getting back - their say in what is more out there in public in America. That IS after all why America came to be. Fleeing from religious tyranny. We do NOT want Christianity to be the ONLY religion here either. Otherwise our ancestors fought for NOTHING!!
That said, as to how these women are treated, I absolutely believe this horrible mistreatment is happening and it should and needs to be stopped! I do NOT believe that this "belief" is taking over the USA, however.

I need to add, make sure it is understood, that I don't believe at all the ALL Muslims or the Muslim religion is at fault here. The EXTREMIST Muslims, are the ones that are doing these things! But isn't that true of any religion, extremists are the ones who want violence, prejudice, etc. etc. etc.

well america was founded on freedom of religion. so, everyone needs to leave other religions alone. we are supposed to be able to worship however we like. no one should be able to force us not to wear our crosses if we please, not to be allowed to pray where and when we please. everyone should be allowed and not forced. thats supposed to be american. yet others want to kill us for this very reason because they cant FORCE us. it makes no sense that this is allowed

Yes, that is true, and that is why some people look at religions or beliefs as bad, because of these extremists or followers who have interpreted the scriptures wrongly. However, those who judge all religions based on these extremists are no better. Wise people understand that these extremists are the problems, not the entire religion.

Just because they are Muslim doesn't mean that they all are extremist. I ave run into Christian extremists also. They can come from anywhere. If someone believes enough in their religion or even political views, they may die for it. Look at Hitler, He was a racial extremist. It's all the same, people that take their ideas and beliefs to the level of killing other human beings. I personally think any of it is appalling.

I really think that only a certain percent of the Muslims are the ones that are extremists, trying to cause trouble, and not all of them!
The bad part is, I've noticed that the People of the Muslim belief are very strong and devoted about their religion!

She was supposed to speak at Columbia University on 11/18 this year but it was canceled due to pressure from the Muslim students and organizations there. If we don't get a handle on this soon, the world will be a very dark place. I do not agree with squashing any religion but there is such a thing as showing one that violence will not be accepted.
It's amazing to me that radicals are only a small portion of the Muslim faith and yet the rest of them fear the minority. I should not be surprised, though, since the United States is ruled by a small, radical minority that shapes our policies and affects our lives.
Time for all sheep to grow teeth and rebel--everywhere!

Bunny, we have to start by voting out ALL incumbents in the next election--if we make it that far without an insurrection. The people are getting so frustrated and angry that a revolution may start before the next elections. We are desperate, our children are wearing patched clothes and going hungry in some families and yet they still want to impose more taxes. Inflation is rearing its ugly head now so we may not get as far as a peaceful revolution through the voting booth.
This is a scary and amazing time in our history. I really believe we will take the government back in the next year.

i really wonder how we can do anything if we are not a power. any powers that come up to fight it the government suppresses and sometimes even arrests.

bunnybon7 I really dont know but I have met a lot ofmuslims here in the US that do not have those ideas at all. they were appalled at the 9/11 disaster and were just as upset as we were I really dont think,at least I sure hope not, that Jihad can overtake our america as too many of us well remember 9/11 much too well. and we are a resourceful people too so we do not succumb easily to force from anyone. hope I am right.

So what if our government takes all the religious things out of public places. Its not their responibilites to teach our children what they need to know.
We as parents are ther ones that need to teach our young about religion. I personally dont like certian false practices being taught to my children or grandchildren in the schools.

No, there is no proof she isn't speaking the truth or that she is. I believe her. It is scarey that there are so many Muslims and that they are so brain washed. They wish to 'die in Jahid'. They are proud to do so. I think a very good way to understand how easily these people will lay down their life is to look at the christians and how solid they are in their own belief. All religions are THE religion as far as their followers are concerned. They believe just like anyone else does in their own religion of chose. Scarey is right!!

hello bunny,
these people are arrogant and so jealous with the western influence and too radical for other fellow muslim people. i hope true people in the Islamic community would stand up against these extremist group, they don't have to follow them, some muslim friends told me that these doesn't really follow the wills of Islam and Allah. unfortunately, they're afraid to do so because of fear in getting killed

The deal with Muslims is no different from other religious type of wars that have gone on in the history of the world. This is not the first time that it has happened and I am sure that it will not be the last time that there will be a holy war in the world either. I believe that it could be true, but the question in that situation is how successful will they be?? Yes, there has already been some success, but I don't think it could be 100% successful.

but this does seem to be a lot more dangerous and they seem more determined. i think theres never been so many in one religion willing to die in order to kill others. what sense does that make?
