Trouble Reading

I have a question to pose to you readers out there. Lately, (for the past four months or so) have been unable to remain interested in a story, even ones in a series that I enjoy. Is this a sign of laziness because I don't want to sit down and get started, a sign of anxiety because I feel I should be doing something productive instead of being a couch potato, or (I hope) is this a temporary phase and it's just obvious I haven't been in the mood to read? This wouldn't both me so much but I have to siblings writing stories who want me to read and evaluate them, but I have trouble bringing the words to my eyes (so to speak). Any help or hints on the matter would be appreciated.

You may be feeling anxious about other things in your life which is keepin you from being able to read. You should set aside a certain amount of time for yourself just to read. Like a chore but one you enjoy :)
As for your siblings stories, maybe you can't sit through them because they just aren't any good. That's always a possiblity.

Say, that's a good idea, thanks! I do get very annoyed when I'm interrupted in the middle of a good book, so alone-reading-time would work for me. But it's not like my siblings' stories are boring; my sister has the funniest comedy I've ever read (which we might be the only ones who understand it), and my older brother is an awesome science fiction and suspense thriller writer. I think your first assumption was more accurate, so thank you for pointing that out. I have had quite a bit on my plate lately. =)
