I think both water and fruit juice have their own good and benefit. However, as we learned on science class that fruits also have water content inside. So having fruit juice can be considered as having water mixed with certain vitamins together. Based on this thought, i think we can say if fruit juice might have much more benefit than just a plain water. But mineral water might has more minerals which useful for our health, especially for our kidney. Everyone can easily having mineral water without having to worry about its bad because it has no bad side. But fruit juice, for certain people, especially people with diabetes better don't having fruit juice unless some certain of fruit which recommended by the specialized doctor because beside water content, fruits also have high content of sweet which would be harm the diabetes people. But if we are talking about health and normal people, i believe both having water or fruit juice is good. It just depends on your nutritious content from your daily meals. If your meals have less nutritious, such as junk food, i think you can substituted the losing nutritious by having fruit juice. But if your meals have high nutritious content, having water is much helpful for metabolism progress. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

well of course water. as water can be use for cleansing or cleanse away any toxin inside your body. Fruit juice is also good due to its natural sugar and our body needs sugar too for energy. but then water still number one.

For me water is best than fruit juice because sometimes, I notice to myself that whenever I'm drinking fruit juice, after drinking, I seek for water because wtaer is more refreshing for me. That's my last drink after drinking anything. Its also good to drink fruit juice because it has vitamin C and is also neede by our body so I would both.

hi mkings,
For me having both is great. Getting the right nutrition from fruits and having water on your body to keep in shape are two important things. But to choose only one i prefer water, because we need it for survival. I mean, our body needs it everyday and juice can't be replaced by water.

I would stick to water. I am a water junkie and I always have my bottled water where ever I may go. I do also drink fruit juice but since most juices have added sugars etc etc... I prefer water over juices. Although it depends on your daily caloric needs, I honestly rather eat an apple than buy apple juice.

I have to say that water is actually healthier for you. I know juice is good for you but it has a lot of carbs in it. It also has lots of extra calories that have to be burned off. It can also spike sugar levels. I think some juice is good, but whole fruit is better for your body as it is digested slower. so, water is actually better for you than juice.

It is okay to drink orange juice but the best is still the ones you squeeze yourself. The juices that you buy from the supermarkets contain lots of sugar and preservatives. Hence, I would say stick to drinking water as much as you can. It is calorie-free I think, it keeps you hydrated (good for the skin and for eliminating toxins from your body). If you find that drinking water is not to your liking, try putting a piece of lemon into your water. I read somewhere too that drinking cold iced drinks can help increase your metabolism rate - so what a great way of assisting in losing some weight? Drink iced cold water with lemon... Nice!

If the fruit juice is 100% nature (without any chemical additives), that's better. Otherwise, mineral water is better.
Don't take it extreme, they can't be substitute for each other. If you over-intake vitamin from the fruit juice, they are just wasted.
Be healthy!
