You can find this products in the store or somewhere.Pls stop buying it .If you want to warm yourself, hot water bottle is ok.It is unnecessary to use wheat as a inner bag.
It is not safe, and most important, wheat is foodstuff, don't you think it is a waste to use this kind products?
So,my frinds, have you see this products in the store? And will you buy it any more?
pls give me your respond.thanks!

I have not seen these in the stores..what are they called? I have seen products very similar to them though...what are your bags made of, it looks like and old sweater or something? I know that can't go in your microwave so i was just wondering....

usually it called wheat pillow in hot water shape. The function is for warm use.
the color cover is knitted, the inner bag is cotton cloth, and inside is wheat.
the inner bag can put into microwave oven for 1-2 minutes, it will trun warm.and then put the inner bag into color cover,to keep you warm.

Sounds like a great thing....did you make this one yourself? I have a heating pad for my feet as long as my feet are warm the rest of me is fine.

I have a rice bag for 10 years. It doesn´t use that much rice and it does not use up as much electricity as heating water for a hot water bottle. Besides, I use it for my aching back and shoulder and it has less weight and the shape is better (no big lump).
This type of heater is all made with biodegradable things. The material is cotton, not manmade fibers, the inside is a grain. Hot water bottles will leave waste forever when they become dangerous through use.
I help the world my own way by not wasting food. I recycle every little piece of leftover and turn it into another dish. And I also work each day for some minutes at a site sponsored by the United Nations World Food Program. It´s a game and anyone can play it for a while to help give rice to hungry children. I play each day for almost the quantity of rice of my bottle.

Take care!

I think that if everyone of us played that game for just 5 minutes each day, it would be a great help. I feel those people are part of me. They are a deep hurt in my heart as we belong to the same species. I don´t understand why so many people will "adopt" a monkey and won´t get involved in helping a bit with people like us. We could be them.

I have never seen this product, but have seen many patterns and instructions for making something similar with rice or other grains. I don't see that it's a problem when and where the food is abundant, but of course if people need to eat it, it shouldn't be used this way.
I have made a pad with rice in it to heat in the microwave and it's great on a cold night or when I have a backache, etc. I have a hot water bottle and use that at times, too, but it isn't as big as the rice pad, so I only use that when I have a small sore area or to keep my feet warm.

In fact, i have no rights to prevent somebody to buy something, i just wonder if i can do sth.for those people who are facing the threaten of starvation.
