I usually listen to it because it brings back memories of the wonderful Christmases that I have had. As a child Santa brought the most amazing toys. I loved being a child. So, now that I have a 4 year old grand daughter I want her to listen to the Christmas music. Now, she is able to sing with some of the songs.
So, do you listen to Christmas music this time of year.

Me and my family listen to a lot of Christmas carols and Celtic Christmas carols. It's really nice music, especially with the flutes, it really reminds me of Christmas time. :) I can't stand however when hip hop artist or rap singers remake Christmas carols, it just completely ruins it for me when I hear, " Yo Yo Merry Christmas Ya'll - Suck My ---- with boughs of holly." Yikes.

Thank you for your response, snafushe. I don't like to hear a wonderful Christmas song that has been redone and it has changed the whole way it sounds. Merry Christmas

Hi sweetbabyjane, I too enjoy listening to Christmas music and remembering the days when I was excited about Santa's arrival. Of course I also have happy memories of when my own children were young. I also enjoy watching the old Christmas movies that have become a tradition with many people. Blessings.

Hey sweet! I wish I could say that Christmas songs bring back
wonderful memories for me, but for some reason as much as
I love them they make me sad. I don't know what it is about
them. I love Christmas songs, but we didn't really celebrate
Christmas in my house because my family was Jewish. I, on the
other hand am not religious and celebrate Christmas and have
since I moved out of my house many years ago. I think it might
have something to do with knowing it is the end of another year.
I do enjoy the season because I love my friends and am able to
celebrate and party with them, but the music still makes me sad.

Christmas is fast approaching and now you can see that many radio channels play Christmas songs often. Also, many TV channels paly Christmas mvoies often. Everywhere you can see Christmas music and the shops and malls are decorated and ready to welcome Christmas. Most of the people changed their cell phoen ring tones to Christmas songs such as Jingle belss. I got gifts for my family and all set to welcome Christmas.

I listen to Christmas music when I am in my car driving or in the Mall shopping. Sometimes I will listen to Christmas music if I am at a friends house during the holiday season.

oh yes I do. For me it is my chance to hear good christmas songs again. I love listening to christmas carols because with it, I can feel the true spirit of christmas. I love listening to romantic christmas songs especially from Barry Manilow and the Carpenters.

Yes, as a 19 year old, I still do. As a child, I used to hate christmas carols and had always tried to make my father turn it of, which he didn't. Now, as I'm older, I appreciate christmas carols more and often listen to them during christmas. Possibly I do this because my father loves christmas carols and as a young boy, at school, he used to sing them by heart every year. Today, he still remembers them and can sing them by heart. Because of this, I have learnt to respect my father and because of his enthusiasm from christmas caroling, I ended up liking it.

About 6 years ago i used to drea, absolutely dread christmas carols. I though they had no beat. This might have been because of the type of carols my father used to play every christmas. 6 years later i asked why he used to listen to these type of carols (King's college choir). He said at school when he was young, he would have to sing them everyday during december in the morning. One different one every morning. He told me that since he used to sing them every year, he got used to them and likes them. For some reason i like the carols too in a weird way, now that i'm older. I just recently send my father a bundle of carols to listen to, since he works abroad and doesn't have access to any. He told me he listens to them every morning for about 3 times.
