I also do it for cleaning but I do repair cellphones as a hobby of mine. Just remember to be safe and remove the battery before removing the case for disassembly. I always took apart my old cellphones back then but now Im too afraid to break open the latest ones (Touch Screens tend to easily break) :((

I don't think that is a tricky one to try.Almost everybody would have done it once in a while.Pesonally,I have to clean my cell phone in hot climates often as some sweat may penetrate. But we shall not try to be over smart to go deeper in the name of cleaning.Service people are always there.

I'll open up for cleaning purpose too. Is very uncomfortable if my cell phone is dirty. I try to open the part that I could open without damage the phone. Except I'm very confidence and expert with cell phone. I'll clean it with dry cloth. If the stain is hard to remove I'll use some of cleaning liquid to clean it up.

Hello umer5222 this is checkmail and often do open mine cell phone for various purposes, like cleaning, swaping battery, changing sim cards etc stuffs.Yeah its good to clean our cell phone as a lot of dirt is accumulated in it, as we go on using it.Most of the time if it falls its battery is damaged, so open it to replace an new one.And even its really easy to change the sim card in the cellphones. All the cell phones are in mine family are opned bby me, just for this purposes. If have an technical pro then prefer an mobile technician to it.Anyways Happy Mylotting.

I let my husband do it because he is more knowledgable about such gadgets. He knows how to fix and clean. I am afraid to do so because I might break any minute and sensitive part.

I will open cirtain places that I can easly get to and clean them with a dry cloth, such as the battery compartment. Of course I take out the battery first. However the more complicated macanics of it, no I'm afraid I don't. I find that its just really not worth my time to do so.
