In my P.E. class, there used to be a written exam. We would have to remember all the names of major muscles in the body and describe exercising techniques. I thought it was pretty horrible but running 800 meters sounds even worse. GRrrrr....P.E......

Hiya chores,
Me I hated those kind of things. I liked playing other games but never this kind of exam as a lot of us failed miserably and we had an awful Teacher to go with it.
A lot of them would take a Sick Note to try and get out of it but they never did hardly.
I was agile could run and swim quick but never liked the thought of being under so much pressure just to suit someone else.
Never did try and bother to do well although sometimes I did.
Swimming was my best and did not have to put much effort into that one.
Jumping hurdles was what I disliked the most and the Long Jump yuk no way was I going to try to do better in that one.
Matter of choice for us all.

Well I don't really think I had to take many if any PE Exams. I think that in that class, you only had to take one if you were getting below a "B" in the class. And the only way to do that, is if you didn't try in the class at all. Which really is the easiest thing to do and let's face it, even if I, the most nonathletic person in the world, can do well in PE, you just aren't trying if you don't get a good grade and you don't get to do the exam.
I didn't really like PE, but I think I did well. Then there were many subjects and classes in school that I did well enough in that I did not really necessarily like. It was just one of those things. I have no idea what the PE exams were like, but given that those who had to take them really did fail bad in the class, it really just makes me wonder how successful they were on them. Still not athletic and don't care much for PE.

PE exams are alright with me because these do not require much thinking unlike all the other subjects which we have to study hard in order to pass the exams. For me, PE is a form of play and so I enjoy it for physical fitness. The exams are also good for us for the grades.

It would of bothered me, we never had finals or exams in PE. We just had last day of class. There wasn't any paper work and really didn't bother if you improved physically or not, you were just there for whatever silly purpose PE had.
