Trying to keep my spirits lifted. Your support has been most helpful. I am blessed. We all have ups and downs. Unfortunately the downs have been really prevalent in my life lately. But, I try to push my spirits up. Surrounding myself with the things that bring me joy is definitely helping.
My tree is up and decorated. The house smells of homemade goodies. Today I am making whoopie pies, homemade rolls, and donuts. Sunday is our family Christmas celebration and I always bake up goodies to share with my family. It is something that I have done for 25 plus years.
Thank you all for your continued thoughts and prayers for me and my family.
Big huggers to you all.

Merry Christmas!! I hope your new year will be easier and happier. Like you, it has been a rough year and I am ready for something good in my life. Peace, quiet, and food at your house sounds like a wonderful way to start. Donuts? I am so there for the donuts. I like the glazed ones. I can't smell your house from here so I am coming over to smell your house, ok? hehehehe

I would love to organize a bunch of people to go caroling at some of my clients homes. That would be a wonderful thing too.

Now what on God's earth is a whoopie pie? Enjoy Sunday with your family! Remember the constant blessing in our life is change - nothing (thank God) remains the same but is constantly changing even as we now speak. The hurt and worries will pass even though you think that they won't. They will in time. Many blessings to you and your family this Christmas

You are so right there! I understand change more than I really should. My life has been changing as each day passes. There is more change on the horizon. I know I will get through it. Thank you.

Many of us here on mY Lot are very supportive, especially of good people like you. I only wish sometimes that we lived closer to people so that we could offer more support.
At least I find online support to be quite helpful, and I have sure needed it over the past few weeeks off and on.
Keep doing the Christmas activities that give you jOy, and keep busy, up to a point.
GoodLuck.

I am pleased to hear you are doing things that are joyful to you and you sound as though your spirit has been lifted. You’ve had a rough year and I relate because I’ve had a few of those myself! I don’t know if you have had your family lunch yet because of our time differences but I hope it went or will go well and you have a great day. I hope that having your spirits up will bring positive changes in your life and things improve a lot for you. Enjoy!

Merry Christmas to you and your family ElusiveButterfly, keep up the good spirit. I had some rough weeks this month too, but last night me and my son wnet to a Christmas Celebration held by my church. I closed my eyes and let all the wonderful music and beautiful words just penetrate and rush into my soul, and I really felt wonderful afterwards. And wow...great cookies. I wish I am there to help you finish it up,...ha ha
