This entry starts the turn of a page in my life, to further my understanding of my life and the life of a man I once called "Dad." This, which I am about to show you is a compilation of letters written by the hand, and led by the heart of Mr. Douglas Howard Brooks. Written for mine eyes only, however, addressed to my younger brother as well, in my fathers hope that my brother, Daniel, would read and understand. two years after the passing of my father, I now know Daniel will never understand, although read these letters. Emotional strength is my ally right now, so bear with me as I compose something never done before with these body parts...
"A Collection of Letters written by Douglas Howard Brooks," rewritten by daughter and friend, Allyson Katherine Brooks. I warn you now, many things will be repeated in the general sense, however, separate and at different times.
The road less traveled will now become a superhighway.
All letters are in chronological order...

"Plagerism" is spelled plagiarism. Brooks is my maiden name and I'm married under a different last name. The only thing I'm "plagerizing" are my fathers letters written only to me. You cannot and will not find this material on the web or in a book, except that which I wish to share with people. This is my story of my mid to late teenage years and if it offends you that I'm reaching out to others with a similar story, I apologize for hurting your feelings. This is not considered plagiarism. If I can't share my story, then I won't continue mylotting.

Hold on there miss, I was merely asking becausd this does appear on a couple weblinks. If it is your original material than fine. I took no offense to it in fact, it is some nice writing and I did enjoy reading it. I am not opposed to people reaching out and using mylot as a venue for expression.
I also never claimed to be a spelling or typing champ....but thanks for pointing it out.
I'll bother you no further.
