What do you guys think of the twilight movies?

I have read the twilight books and I absoutely love them, but I can't stand the movies. They are so slow. I could hardly get through "New Moon". It seemed like it lasted for ever and the whole movie was just people walking around looking sad. All the action parts were shown on the previews, and there was nothing new to see in the movie. What do you guys think? Have you read the books?

People hate Twilight just because it's so popular.
Usually movie adaptations aren't that good but this one was great.
Reading Twilight books always makes me happy.
Edward is my all time favorite fictional character.
Stephenie Meyer had this awesome dream and she made an epic story of it.
Honestly I can't imagine that it could end up any better than that, it's perfect.
I can recognize myself as Jacob since werewolves are my favorite fictional creatures.
Twilight is the greatest and most romantic story ever told...

But how can you say that?
There's this super hot vampire dude and he's real pimp. He drives Volvo, sparkles in the sun, never washes his hair and is wanted in five states for pedophilia. Then there's this wolf guy that always walks around shirtless...He's a real werewolf but he doesn't have a single hair on his chest. And these vampires, they love to play baseball...and wow, how fast they can move. They move in a way that makes you wonder if you haven't accidentally pressed fast forward on the remote control. And you call that boring? What's wrong with you? But then again, I can't really expect you to understand Twilight since you have to be crazy obsessed teenage girl to fully enjoy this epic saga.

The werewolf part was pretty convincing since you know like those creatures, right?

Ah! The movies were terrible. In the books you imagine that Edward would be a hot man thats just gorgeous, but in the movie he really isn't attractive. They also skipped a lot of parts in the books that were slightly important which was also annoying
