Is anyone else familiar with Harry Chapin?

I grew up listening to his music. People from my generation normally don't even realize who he was. Not only was he a talented musician, he was also an advocate for the irradication of world hunger. I have done several papers in college on Harry Chapin. It was just such a sad tragedy that he died so early. I was just wondering if anyone else was interested in his music or his charity work. One of his projects still is running today. http://www.whyhunger.org

Man! I haven't thought about Harry Chapin in YEARS! I used to love listening to "Blind Man in the Bleachers". Awesome song. I'm sorry to say I had no idea about his untimely demise or his charity work. I am definitely going to take a look at the whyhunger site. So many gifted people die so young. Thanks for reminding me about Harry Chapin.

I remember Harry Chapin, he wasn't the most prolific of the hit makers, but Cat's Cradle is one of those songs that rings so true, today as much as when it came out. And Taxi, such a song about lost dreams - huh?
