Do you think spending time on playing computer games is good?

Yes i do take it positively because i am also a lover of computer games and i really do love fantasy types of games. Playing games makes our mind fresh but if we play it for long time and with out taking rest then it might harm us in our health and our compuer also.

There was a study before regarding the fact that kids who play computer games do benefit from playing: computer games stimulate problem-solving functions of our brain, so it helps keep your brain healthy. :D Just don't do it like I do: 18 hours and beyond. Nyahaha!

Yeah, I had to taper down the playing. I'll be back to work again next week, so my happy days are over. :D Thankfully, I'm nearly done with Plants vs. Zombies: I already have both silver and gold trophies, meaning I'm done playing all the games: Adventure Mode, Mini-Games, Puzzles, and Survival Mode... So I can now rest easy and just play like an hour or so daily. Heheh!
Thanks for the concern. :D

I like playing computer games, and I think it is fine to play some games as long as you don't neglect other areas of your life. Some people get addicted to games and start playing many, many hours a day, and I don't think that is healthy. I use my computer in lots of different ways, sometimes I work, and sometimes I am just looking for entertainment. I like to play a few games when I need a break from my work, and it is a nice way to relax. When I get back to my work I have new energy

I am a computer gamer and I just love it! But, I would say that playing computer games is not good at all. First, your health will be at stake, not to mention your eyes will get damaged, your fingers will have some regular pains, you will also have some regular back pains. If you will play games during your free hours, then it will be good for you.

Many people may disagree with this, but some computers games actually improve your knowledge and related etc.

I think computer games is a good way to relieve stress by having fun. Also you get a chance to interact with friends or make new friends that you never would have had the chance of making otherwise. It can also help teach good team-work because sometimes that is what it takes to win/accomplish the goal.
Yes you can cause some damage to your health, but if you play moderately I think it can do more good than harm.
I like many different genre's myself, but my favorites are FPS, RTS, RPG and MMORPG.

Yes, it's a good entertainment. I used to play a lot, often over 5 hours a day. I don't have much time for it now. But as an online gamer I noticed that you're not the same player after one hour and after 5 hours. You lose some concentration and you're not 100%, so I guess the best time spending on playing games should be 1-2 hours. But sometimes you get some new game with interesting story that will just keep you captivated to the screen for the whole weekend. That's good too, if it doesn't happen on regular basis. I'm only 22 and I've been playing since I know myself and still I don't have no health issues.

If you know how to control the game insted of the game controlling you then theres no harm in spending some time playing a little game. Its relaxing most of the times, specially if you play with friends.

I think people do need to limit the amount of time they spend playing video games in general. I don't think that spending hours a day playing video games is the best thing for anyone to do. However, I do like video games, and I will continue to play them. I just make sure I don't spend a huge amount of time playing them.
