Hey everybody,
Have you tried windows 7 yet? I think it's a good version of windows, matter of fact: it's the best windows version I have tried. All things work like they should and it is a speedy version too, I really haven't any complaints about windows 7. It's just that it's new and when you need old drivers for your printer for example.. you can't get them anymore.. I hate it when this happens, everything works so smoothly, but then you are stuck with old hardware for new software..What are your opinions about this? If I have to buy an other printer for example, I won't do it because it's not worth it. I will install windows xp again if the trouble with old hardware keeps annoying me.

I would say Windows 7 is great! Great gui, configurable, fast, secure, yet programable. It has a built in troubleshooter, which works fine. It has all latest Microsoft products(IE 8, WMP 12, DX 11, Silverlight) and many more pre installed.

The problem of drivers always persist in windows. Whenever you are trying to find a driver, there is another problem which version of windows, 2000, ME, xp, vista, and now windows 7.
These problems doesnt seem to affect the linux systems though. They have built in drivers for all printers. You dont have to worry about that. And if you want a better gui, there are the recent versions of linux with very good gui. Try them once.
