I do not think that God is an imagination.because if God was an imagination definitely you are also an imagination. The bible say let our made or creat man in our image. That is God created you and I in His image. So God is supernatural all knowing and He is real and was there when you were writting this discussion and He is talk through people. He love you and me that is why we saw this day.God bless you mtvmtv and stay well

I believe in God. However, your argument is untenable. Your argument is anchored about God creating man. however, for a non-believer, it would not hold because they don't believe in God in the first place. Therefore, even if God is an imagination, they would still continue to exist.

Yes, you can have direct contact with God.Of course, this is between you and God ,not you, me and God.God has no physical body.We are spiritual beings in our true nature. God is spiritual as well.Be prepared for God is very very smart. He might be hard for you to understand. Perhaps a good exercise would be to look at this world and see how it all does add up even the people factor. If you can understand just what is happening and the genius behind it all, you might be ready.

It's imagination hands down. I mean how do you think there are so many "gods" around and we all say that our god is the right god and there isn't any hardcore proof because all you hear being preached is "you gotta believe" Plus it's been proven that many early religions were formed because the people couldn't explain natural things science could. So the reasons for having a religion went from concrete to abstract reasons since modernization has improved science and knocked down the crap that gets said.

Belief in God is something personal. One may say that he feels God in nature; others in his work and so on and so forth. It is based on our own experience on God that we are able to know him. :)

Hmm... If somebody said he/she has seen God, it is either he/she is the similar type of supernatural being as God, or he/she has seen "something like God". It takes lots of religous effort to gain some precondition to see Him! We cannot see Him, it doesn't mean He doesn't exist.

in many religions it is not considered unusual for a practitioner to have personal experience of their deities.

God isn't quite defined and it's very subjective thing. Some will see/feel god in tings that others wouldn't. Personally I haven't experienced anything like it.

Hi, No one has seen GOD as of now and what we are hearing and have faith is because we have been brought up in such a way where every one is praying to GOD in good and bad times. We realize that GOD is there when something good happens with us, and also critize GOD most when something bad happens. So it depends on us how we take this. In my view we should be practical and do our own things and let destiny decides what is good and bad for us. And don't depend on GOD that he will give me this or that, without doing anything.
