Nearly 7 years ago I brought a cute puppy. when I bought her I was told she was a border collie, but since then I have had my doubts. I have asked loads of people but the jury is still out on wheter she is a collie or a collie x. I know it does not really matter what she is as I will love her all the same. if you need to see more pics let me know.

The fur seems to smooth to be a Border Collie to me, but im not the perfect dog recognizer, but she could be a mix of Border Collie with Smooth Collie? There is certainly Collie in her, she looks lovely to me :)
And maybe as mentioned above, a tiny little terrier alike look, but doesnt mean she is at all...

Exactly my thought, all the pictures ive seen they got more fluffy and longer fur, and the few i have seen in real life also have the same more fluffier fur... But her markings are certainly Border alike...

ok.. yes I need more pics.. I have collies.. (in my avatar pic) I see the possibility.. She does look very Border Collie-ish.. The color of the eyebrows tell me NOT full border collie.. Is she short hair.. I need to see her body type to judge better.

She looks very similar to one of my own Border Collies but the picture does not show enough of her to tell.
Border Collies developed in the borders between Scotland and England. The image you probably have in mind is a typical Scottish Collie used for driving sheep, with a long curly coat, English Border Collies where use for driving cattle and short haired, like yours and mine.
Having said that, Corder Collies were breed for ability not appearance and vary considerably. They retain a greater degree of Wolf instincts than other dogs which, in a dominant animal, can make them rather sharp if not properly handled.
You need to consider the conformation of the body which cannot be seen from the picture. Border Collies are the most intelligent of breeds, supremely fit and agile. In good condition, and yours does not look in the peak of condition, it should have a deep chest, and pronounced muscles. It should be keen and a little excitable. A good collie has a strong eye.
It is quite possible that that dog is a Border

hmm..I see some border collie, but I am also seeing a terrier in there of some sort, fox terrier it looks like. I think what you have there is the classic "dog". Basicly a mutt. Best dogs to have actually. Pure breeds tend to have all sorts of genetic health issues and problems.
