I have an even better idea. there are plenty of really rich folks, celebrities etc who firmly believe this stuff. What I want to do is send each of them a letter asking them to donate all their money to me, except for what they will need to live for the next 2 and a half years of course.....If the world is ending, they have no more need for money do they, they should send it all to me.

I remember in the 50's when I was a little girl and people were standing on the street corners with signs that said that the world was coming to an end....well you are right....here I am 50 years later and have pasted through several other times when they thought it was all over!

wow, what a funny joke, but I bet you those people won't do it. Because deep down, we knew that 2012 will not end like the movie. We will still live our lives like everyday. We still have huge debt burden at our shoulder to carry on. What a life isn't it?

I do not think anyone dumb enough to enter into such a bet with me could be trusted to pay up, but the thought was nice. Anyway, the prophecy is not that the world will end, but simply that there is no data coming through to the prophets. That is an entirely different thing. They might as well just say "We don't know!" But maybe they would rather have the world end than to admit that.

Well, that is quite an idea! Now, let me ask you this? Who do I supposedly know that has $1000 dollars to bet? You want to tell me that? You do remember there is a recession on? No one has any extra money for bets much less Christmas. I will keep this idea in mind though incase I come across some big spenders.

Lol I would love to make this bet to someone dumb enough to take it. Doubt I would remember I made this bet in 2013 though lol even though its a safe bet to make either the world ends or you make one thousand dollars now thats what I call the perfect bet lol just dont hope I loose the bet because that would really really suck for all of us lol.

That is a great idea; you could bet a few people and make a fortune, lets’ face it if the world does end it’s not like you are going to have to pay up anyway! I have heard so many deadlines for the end; I recall the year 2000 was supposed to bring disasters and yet it came and went uneventfully. I tend to believe that if the world is ever going to end, it will happen when no one is expecting it and we would more than likely have no warnings.
