ow we have a vegetarian here... hmm my answer is because it tastes good and its has nutrients. and i was never a vegetarian so i wouldn't really understand how vegetarian feels about eating animals so sorry. i love eating chicken.

Hi teddy, Welcome to mylot. I know it may seem cruel to kill these animals but it is called the chain of life. Chickens, cows and pigs are raised for the purpose of providing food. It isn't mean. It is life. Some people can't tolerate the thought of eating meat and choose to be vegetarians and that is fine but that does not mean that the ones that do eat meat are horrible either. Are you saying that you never eat meat at all?

Once upon a time the answer would have been survival. Now it is more a question of habit. There are many foods to chose from in places that have large supermarkets, though in some places people still eat what they can get.

I also wonder sometimes how is it that so many people eat plants. They are beautiful and only give us pleasure. My answer is that we need to eat all that or we die. If you believe in God, you must know he created us omnivorous. Take care!

As a carnivore I eat other animal's meat. It's my nature. Many other carnivore animal species do so and nobody complains. Also chickens are really delicious animals, and there are so many ways to cook them

I am also sympathetic to the chickens but not that much, the reason that we have to kill them and eat them is because we need to feed our population. God did not create such an animal so we could take care of them; they are best used for feeding ourselves. We eat animals because the human species is omnivorous; we have to eat both plants and animals. Many other animals are carnivorous by nature, eating only other animals, so you can't say that this is going against what God wanted. This is nature and you can't have the whole of humanity stop eating meat. I mean, name one animal that would stop eating because they think that their food is beautiful and helpless.
