I have been baking cookies for the past 2 days. Mostly I make candy but you have to have some cookies in there. I am not doing as much baking this year as usual so I only made 3 different kinds. I made Molasses cookies, Caramel filled cookies and Chocolate chip cookies. How about everyone out there. What kind of cookies are you making this year for Christmas????

I love sugar cookies with the decorator frosting on them. Yummmmmm I used to make them every year but now that the kids are grown and gone I don't have anyone to decorate them for me. Ha Ha

My daughter is doing most of the baking. She made sugar cookies shaped in Christmas symbols and decorated with icing and sprinkles. She also made peanut butter cup squares (chocolate and peanut butter) and one batch of Christmas Rice Krispy squares. We'll be making more of those because once my husband finds them he'll eat them all and we are baking for Christmas with my family on Boxing Day. I am also going to make something my mother always used to make before she moved into a senior's residence, Corn Flake refrigerator cookies. They are made with butterscotch chips and peanut butter. It wouldn't be Christmas without those cookies so I am going to make them every year now. Last year we made a couple of other things but I think this is all we'll make this year.

I'm not sure if we'll be making any cookies this year. I haven't really decided upon making anything though. I'll probably just grab some mixes from the store and put them on a cookie tray and throw them into the oven. I think that's the best thing to do. I won't have much time to do a lot of baking this year.
