what's your opinion about buying a apple laptop as a student ?

I am thinking of buying a new laptop for me ,
Just saw an advertisement from apple that their macbook is the best for the lifetime as well as a student.
I already have an dell laptop, Therefore no chance of buying from dell again.
Please give me suggestion........

well apple isint as good as u think it is and a lot different from reguler dell computters so u should deffinetlly get another dell since your already used to it

Well I know that the larger percentage of replies should come in favor of dell only that's why I mentioned that point,
If any other company's laptop rather than dell you want to suggest me If there...

I agree with smile8100, its not really that good and its way too expensive for a student. Im using a dell laptop and I love it! HP is also a good brand, my brother uses an HP laptop and so far, he doesn't have any complaints.=)
