what other sites do you meet new friends?

Aside from mylot, facebook, friendster, etc., what other social networking sites do you use and why? What is your favorite?
I just started using people string last week, it is a quite different from mylot but I also get to make new friends there and earn too... Send me a PM so i can help you.
I like mylot because it gives my the chance to express my views and opinions and at the same time, i larn a lot from other people too.
Would you like to share your opinion on this topic? It will be much appreciated...

You can find friends in orkut, twitter. I think you have missed them. The more number of friends you have the more amount of knowledge you gain from them.
You can join some forums of specific intent, so that you can make friends with like minded.
