I have attended a leadership conference and one of the question that have been talked about is on the on social artistry and the speaker synthesize his discussion to a more broader understanding about art. One of his question is what does it take to be 100% human? My answer was that to be 100% human you should have soul and a complete senses. So I am curious if what is the responses of the mylotters with this query? So what do you think?

A hundred percent human is one who has hundred percent human qualities. A Buddha is such a being, an enlightened one. He is absolutely free from defilement and as a result he is superbly pure in every sense. He even laid down a simple path which any one follow and become absolute pure, ie, a Buddha. Mind you, I am not talking about what is labeled as "Buddhism". This simple technique of self purification is called Vipassana Meditation and is fortunately available at present, and any one can read about how to learn it systematically at the website www.dhamma.org. You may be surprised to know that thousands of people from all religions across the world are actively practicing it. The technique is universal like Yoga, swimming, physics, maths or any other science. Without distinction of religious labels, all are free to learn and gain benefits. This meditation has brought about surprising behavior changes even in hardcore criminals lodged in prisons. I am involved with Vipassana meditation for over ten years. Thanks for your post.

Thank you too. I agree with you meditation is one of the process of attaining the goal to be more humane. If every culture would practice it, our world would be more peaceful and people were more sensitive and have that sense of feeling that we are all connected.

It is the feeling and the soul and the willing to serve God.That what makes us and why we are created for. We are human technically, but if we do something inhuman like killing mercilessly or creating war. We also cannot be 100% human if we change our body to bionic woman or bionic man. Superman is not human because he came from another planet. That will make him an alien.

Human should not be acting like animals for them to be considered as 100% human. As a human, I know what is right from wrong, I have my dreams and own ways to attain them, I believe in God who created everything we can feel, see and touch, I treat well and fair my fellow, I care about the nature and I am normally living as a person.

Being sensitive is the result of being human. Having conscience is agree part of being 100% human.
