Would you help ?

If you had a brother or a sister who was in a bind and needed a little help financially and you could help them, would you help? I have a brother that needs a little help and i try to help him out as much as i can, but i am not in a much better shape. On the other hand we have another brother and sister who could help if they wanted to, but they choose not to. I haven't asked any of my brothers or sister for financial help, even though i have asked one brother if he could help me get a job. We were brought up to help one another, and to try to be there for the others when they needed it. So would you help a sibling if you could?

It would be kind of a harsh thing if my brother even called me and asked me anything. I haven't spoke to my brother since March he has been taken by his wife and turned to the man he wasn't supposed to be. None of the family ( a big family) hasn't spoken to him for several months and since that has happened my mother doesn't even want to celebrate Christmas. If he called me the first thing i would ask is what the heck is your problem and what is your deal? If he needed money then he would be just needing money and probably wouldn't even ask any of his family for help because his wife doesn't approve of talking to us.

Hi, lologirl2021! I can understand where you are coming from. I have a large family of my own, i have 7 children and 3 grandchildren. I always have tried to help my siblings when i can, and sometimes when i really can't. There have been times when my siblings have not spoke to me, or called and sometimes i think i am a big sucker, because if they needed something i would try to help them. Sometimes i just want to scream at them, because they only seem to care about themselves and what they want. Thanks.

yep, of course, as long as i can, as much as i can...no buts. but of course you know there will sometimes be 'buts' especially if both of you are just tight or broke..but i guess there's no mess in life ever that we can never get ourselves out of, so i suppose i'll just do my best always to help a sibling who's in need, and i just hope they'd do the same for me.

Hi, kquiming! Yes, there will always be buts, i know. I always try to help all of my siblings. I think sometimes everyone needs a little help. I am glad to see that you would help your sibling who is in need and i hope that they will help you if you are ever in need. I do the best i can, and hope for the best. Thanks.
