How about buy him a Wii? So u both can enjoy wii sports together at home! And can add on some other games later on. Sure he will like it if he is quite short of time to exercise outside after working hours. Happy holidays!

How about a nice watch? What does he like to do. Is he in to any sports or other activities like golfing or playing pool or riding motorcycles or anything like that? If he is you could his something nice for those things like a really nice golf club or a new pool cue or somehting like that. Just think about what he really enjoys or really gets in to then buy him something that compliments that. Perhaps he loves pro-wrestling get him some tickets to see that. You can't go wrong buying him something for something he loves.

It depends on how long you've known your boyfriend, but how about a photograph or a photo album? You can give a framed photograph of yourself, one of the two of you, or put together a small album with photos of you and him with your friends and write comments next to the photos (date, place, what you were doing). Or how about something just for fun - like harmonicas you can both learn to play, hula hoops, roller skates to go skating together.... just silly things to have good memories. What did you like to do when you were a kid? Maybe find something similar. Does your boyfriend like baked goods? Make some special cookies or a cake. You've got the right idea.
