Have people been using this site for a long time? If so are they making an income from it, or is it more like pocket money? I am new to this site and I'm finding it very interesting, whats the best way to use it to its full potential, and how do you achieve a high response rate?

The key is to post discussion that people will answer, If you post something about a special type of grass that only grows in a certain season. Not many people will find that interesting so they won't respond to it.
Also when your posting and responding remember to give it as much detail as possible but have lots of information as well. Don't just write words for the sake of writing words so it looks like you've put an effort into it.
I don't earn much on MyLot only 5-10 cents a day, but I enjoy it. So being paid is kind of a bonus. If you are doing it to get paid I suggest you go on a lot.

Thank you very much for your advice, have to say I find it very enjoyable and has no resemblance to work. To see the pennies go up on my account is almost amusing, like monopoly money I dont expect to be able to spend. So it is a bonus. If people manage to make a good earning from it I am seriuosly impressed. They must be interesting people.
