Legalize marijuana?

Here in the US, weed/marijuana/mary jane/etc. is NOT legal and there are MANY people rallying for the legalization and decriminalization. How do you feel about the situation in the US? Do you think it should be legal? why or why not.
Also, if you are from other countries where it is not legal, I would like to hear your views as well.
Do you live in a place where it is legal or not enforced? Would love to hear your stories.
Also, would you like to see legalization with decriminalization [because, if it was legalized, they still committed a crime when it was illegal, but thats up for debate]

Well I live in MA where it is decriminalized, which is a start, but definitely at some point it should be legalized. There is nothing wrong with smoking a little pot, and everybody does it anyways so I mean making it illegal really is just pointless. The reason MA decriminalized it was partially because they spent so much money enforcing the laws and it was just futile. Also, weed is good lol :). Cheers!

I wish it was legal. So many people would not have gone to jail that I know..
They need to just get over it.. The president himself smokes it :)

You have some great views on this subject! you and my boyfriend would get along just fine. And Im like 99.999999999999% positive that the prez. smokes. Like you said, stressful job = HERBal treatments.*ahem.. toke,toke * cough, cough...
