The New Year is coming up. Right around the corner. Who is going either make journaling a resolution or keep track of you of your resolutions in a journal. One of my resolutions is to lose weight which if I keep a journal is suppose to increase my chances. Keeping a journal is suppose to help with mental state. So what are your journaling plans for the new year??

I, too, plan on keeping a journal next year to help me keep track of my new year's resolutions...and to assist in motivation. I have two biggie resolutions, one to lose weight and the other is to get out of debt. (Okay, so that last one won't be completed in one year, but a girl can dream can't she?) Anywho, I have read many articles online that support the concept that journaling to keep track of your goals is a good thing and will likely increase your chances of completing them and keeping up with them. Although, I'm not sure of the best way to keep track of them all. I wonder if actually writing everything on paper is better or if typing everything into a WORD document is better...just food for thought...

I keep going back and forth about long hand or typing as well. I spend a lot of time on the computer but I love to use pen and paper. Technically markers. I love colors. I am an over grown child at heart. I think for losing weight the paper will be better or at least through out the day. I am planning hanging a marker board on my fridge so I can write things down as I take them. I used marker board paint on the inside of my cabinets. It started out for use as a grocery list. I love that paint. You just have to know what you are going to use it on before you start. Then I am going to keep a journal on my computer and one by my bed side. This way when I think of something I want to write I can write it.
Hope this helps.
