It is not a habit on my part to immediately mark a certain comment as the best response unless I truly feel that it deserves such mark.Though there are comments that I consider really good and impressive in my discussions, I am giving it a time first especially when that discussion is gathering more comments than the rest of my posts. However, if in case,I have marked a certain comment and than I found out that there's one better, there's nothing I can do to rectify the mistake nor it is not right really to consider it as a mistake for during that time you have assessed it as the best, I believe, it qualified to that category. Besides, we will never know how many mylotters will respond to our discussions.
You can, however, sent a pm to the mylotter whom do you think has the best response other than the one you have already marked.:-)
Happy mylotting, Zal.:-)

yes this has happened to me. either i do it quickly, or sometimes i wait, pick the best response, just to find out that later on (much later) someone else says something much better, but its alright.

Hi Zal!
I do not mark the best response on impulse and I take considerable time to mark the best response. As far as taking decision regarding marking the best response is concerned, if I've marked a response as the best one, I do not regret, even if I receive some better responses, thereafter. I feel that the one who was prompt in responding to my decussion should be given priority and moreover we can only mark one response as the best one, so there are bound to be some problems.

I think it is difficult to choose only one best response, because there are more than one good answer that could be marked as the best sometimes. If we could choose three good answer ,we will never encounter this kind of regret.

Tes, it has happened to me, and that is the benefit of waitng for awhile before you give the best response.j Mylot wants us to wait at least a week to give others a chane to responed that want to. I wait much longer, in fact I wait months. I want to give other users a chance to respond, and by waiting, sometimes it ends up that the responses have stopped, and then it is a good idea to give best response. I have one discussion that is several months old, and I have as yet to give out the best response, but I will do that before to long, as I am not getting anymore responses to it. Usually, after a long time, the discussion will fade away, and others take its place. I do wish though, theat we could give more than one best response, but since we can't, I want to make sure I make the right choice. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

hi zalilame oh yes usually when I have already marked it
'and the next time a really even better response catches'
my eyes and its too late. I have told several people that
I wished we could have two best responses on our discussions'
as sometimes two people really both deserve it. At least it
may make the other person I did not give the br to feel a
bit better about himself or herself.[[

No, I always wait a few days until I think most of the responses that I am going to get have come in.. There is no reason to Rush to give best response..
1 person marked best response after only one hour and to the first person that wrote something -there were many respondents that followed.. It is best to wait a day or 2 at least!

Hi. It has not yet happened to me in my almost one month of myLotting. I just give best response mark once I've noticed that my discussion is no longer active for a week or more.
If something like this happens to me in the future, I'll be sad for the other person. The most that I could do for him/her is to give a positive rating on his/her response.
