What are the advantage and disadvantages of being independent?

Sometimes I think being independent has its disadvantages too.. Please share your experiences.

Every coin has two sides.And what do you mean here?Independent from parents or you are still single?If it's the first situation,I think it's good for you to be independent,for you have to grow up.IF the second,I suggest you get a girlfriend as fast as you can,because I have seen your loneliness.
